Compenswiss, Geneva, is seeking managers to run an allocation to North American real estate of between $100 million and $200 million, according to its website.
The 39.9 billion Swiss francs ($44.3 billion) pension fund will invest in core multisector strategies to diversify its global real estate portfolio.
Selected managers will supply pooled, open-end or closed-end funds. Compenswiss has about 4.8 billion Swiss francs invested in real estate.
The pension fund will not consider funds in which it already invests as well single-sector funds or REITs.
Interested managers may request the RFP on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due by the end of the day June 9. Finalists will be selected by Aug. 1.
