Comerica Inc., Dallas, hired Fidelity Investments as record keeper of its 401(k) plan.
Fidelity replaces Empower Retirement, said spokesman Louis H. Mora in an email. A blackout period for participants is expected to begin at 4 p.m. EDT on June 26 and end during the week of July 12, the company disclosed in an 8-K filing with the SEC on Thursday. Mr. Mora would not provide further information on the reason for the change.
As of Dec. 31, 2018, the Comerica Inc. Preferred Savings Plan had $1.4 billion in assets, according to the company's most recent 11-K filing.
