Columbia Financial Inc., Fair Lawn, N.J., hired Fidelity Investments as record keeper of its 401(k) plan.
Fidelity will replace Newport Group, the bank disclosed in an 8-K filing with the SEC on Dec. 23. A reason for the change was not provided.
A blackout period for participants will begin at 4 p.m. EST on Jan. 20 and end during the week of Feb. 20, according to the 8-K filing.
As of Dec. 31, 2020, the Columbia Bank Savings and Investment Plan had $124 million in assets, according to its most recent 11-K filing.
A spokeswoman could not immediately provide further information.
