Colorado Fire & Police Pension Association, Denver, disclosed $97 million in commitments and investments in an investment activity report included with April 18 board meeting materials.
The $6.8 billion pension fund invested $50 million in Kodai Capital Management, a global fundamental market neutral strategy; and committed €25 million ($27 million) to European real estate fund Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe VII; $15 million to venture capital fund of funds TrueBridge Capital Partners Fund VIII; and €5 million to Adaxia CV I, a multiasset continuation vehicle that invests alongside venture capital fund North Sky Clean Growth Fund VI, an impact-oriented venture capital and growth equity fund managed by North Sky Capital.
As of Feb. 29, the actual allocations to private markets and diversifiers were 30.3% and 8.6%, respectively; their respective targets are 31% and 9%.
