Colorado Fire & Police Pension Association, Denver, disclosed $77 million in new commitments in an investment activity report included with Aug. 22 board meeting materials.
The $7.1 billion pension fund’s staff approved commitments of $25 million each to senior and mezzanine debt and equity fund Enlightenment Capital Solutions Fund V and buyout fund Peak Rock Capital Fund IV; €20 million ($22 million) to Alchemy Special Opportunities Fund V, a distressed debt fund managed by Alchemy Partners; and $5 million to Transom Mahogany Co-Invest, a private equity co-investment alongside Transom Capital Group that will take an equity interest in the combined company of flooring distributor Galleher and ceramic, porcelain and stone tile distributor Virginia Tile.
As of June 30, the pension fund’s actual allocation to private markets was 31%, equal to its target.
