Cobb County, Marietta, Ga., is searching for record keepers for its $188 million 457 plan and $21 million 401(a) plan.
The county has issued a request for information due to the upcoming expiration of current record keeper MissionSquare Retirement's contract, said county spokesman Ross Cavitt. The RFI is being issued to determine whether the county will issue a formal request for proposals, he said. If there is an RFP issued, MissionSquare Retirement would be eligible to rebid.
The RFI is posted on the BidNet Direct procurement website. Registration is required. Responses are due at noon EDT on Oct. 5. An evaluation committee will review responses and the human resources department will determine whether to move forward with the RFP process, Cavitt said.
