The City of Zurich Pension Fund, Zurich, selected Paris-based SCOR to manage an allocation to insurance-linked securities, according to the fund's website.
The allocation was made in January.
Three other managers run insurance-linked securities for the 18 billion Swiss francs ($20.3 billion) fund: Chicago-based Elementum Advisors, New York-based BroadRiver Asset Management and Cayman Islands-based Miravest. The fund's allocation to insurance-linked securities was 2% as of Dec. 31.

SCOR manages reinsurance strategies globally. SCOR's money management unit, SCOR Investment Partners, ran €15.6 billion ($17.5 billion) as of Dec. 31, 2019.
