Citizens Property Insurance Corp., Tallahassee, Fla., plans to hire SageView Advisory Group as investment consultant for its three defined contribution plans, the insurer disclosed Tuesday in an intent to award on its website.
The insurer issued an invitation to negotiate in November because the contract of current consultant FiduciaryFirst is set to expire June 30. The firm was invited to rebid, but whether it did so could not be immediately learned.
The other finalist was AndCo Consulting.
The three DC plans are a $64 million 457 plan, a $54 million 401(a) plan and a 401(k) plan with less than $1 million in assets.
Company spokesman Michael Peltier could not be immediately reached to provide further information.
