Citizens Property Insurance Corp., Tallahassee, Fla., rehired Empower Retirement as record keeper for its $96 million 457 plan, $78 million 401(a) plan and 401(k) plan with less than $1 million in assets, according to an intent to award notice on its website.
The insurer had issued an invitation to negotiate in May due to the upcoming expiration of Empower's contract on May 31, 2023, said Carla McBride, procurement officer, at the time.
According to the intent to award notice, Corebridge Financial (formerly AIG Retirement Services) was ranked second and Nationwide Financial was ranked third among respondents to the ITN.
Ms. McBride could not be immediately reached for further information.
