Chicago Public School Teachers' Pension & Retirement Fund committed $10 million to Estancia Capital Partners Fund III.
The $11.7 billion pension fund's board approved the commitment to the lower-middle-market buyout fund managed by Estancia Capital Management at its June 15 meeting, said Fernando Vinzons, chief investment officer, in an email.
The pension fund previously committed $10 million to Estancia Capital Partners Fund II in 2019.
As of March 31, the actual allocation to private equity was 8.2%; the target is 5%.
