Chicago Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Retirement Fund is searching for an investment consultant.
The $1.4 billion pension fund issued an RFP due to an Illinois statute that requires it to put the services up for bid every five years, said Brian Gillespie, investment officer.
Current consultant Marquette Associates is invited to rebid, he said.
As of Dec. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation was 39.3% domestic equities, 26.4% fixed income, 18.6% international equities, 8.3% real estate, 5.1% global equities, 1.3% cash and 1% private credit.
The target allocation is 38% domestic equities, 25% fixed income, 17% international equities, 10% real estate, and 5% each global equities and private credit.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. CST on March 1. A timeline for a selection has yet to be determined.
