Chevron Corp., San Ramon, Calif., added the Vanguard Value Index Fund to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan.
The passive domestic large-cap value equity fund managed by Vanguard Group was added to the plan effective July 16, 2019, according to an 11-K filing Wednesday with the SEC.
Also effective that date, the plan removed the Vanguard Institutional Total Stock Market Index Trust, the Vanguard Small Cap Index Fund, Vanguard Total World Stock Index Fund, all passive funds and Vanguard Windsor II Fund, an active domestic large-cap value equity fund.
The filing did not provide a reason for the changes; the assets of the fund in the plan were not provided.
As of Dec. 31, the Chevron Employee Savings Investment Plan had $18.8 billion in assets, according to the 11-K filing.
Chevron officials could not be immediately reached for further information.
