Chesterfield County, Va., is searching for a third-party administrator for its $187 million 457 plan.
The county is seeking proposals from firms that can provide services including record keeping, communication and education, administration and investment management for the plan, according to an RFP on its procurement website.
The RFP does not disclose whether current administrator Empower Retirement is eligible to rebid. Kelly Kinnear, senior contract officer for the county, declined to comment.
The RFP is available on the county’s procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT on Aug. 28. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
