Chaves County, Roswell, N.M., is searching for an investment manager for its $50 million permanent fund.
The county is seeking a manager for the entire portfolio, according to an RFP posted on the county's website. The RFP does not disclose the name of the current manager or its eligibility to rebid for the services.
The last time services were put up for bid in 2015, incumbent manager Cutwater Asset Management was rehired. That firm was purchased by BNY Mellon Investment Management that year, and according to county documents, the contract was transferred to BNY Mellon subsidiary Insight Investment.
The RFP is available on the county's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. MST on March 7.
