Chatham County Employee Retirement Plan, Savannah, Ga., hired Boston Trust & Investment Management and EARNEST Partners to run $12.5 million each in active domestic midcap equities, said Amy Davis, the county's finance director, in an email.
The $250 million pension fund issued an RFP in February as a due diligence measure; the pension fund's sole midcap equity manager, LMCG Investments, was invited to rebid. The firm did not do so, Ms. Davis said.
Investment consultant Dahab Associates assisted.
