Champaign County, Urbana, Ill., hired 457 Consulting Group as investment consultant for its $17 million 457 plan, said Darlene Kloeppel, county executive, in an email.
The county issued a request for qualifications in May for its first investment consultant in order to add value to the investments the plan offers, Ms. Kloeppel said at the time.
She would not provide finalist information. Nationwide Financial is the plan's record keeper.
