Cartersville, Ga., is searching for an investment consultant for its two pension plans.
The city is searching for a consultant to provide ongoing investment advisory services for the plans and will consider responses from firms providing either discretionary or non-discretionary services, according to an RFP on the city's website.
The RFP does not disclose the name of any current consultant or whether the firm is eligible to rebid.
The city's two pension plans, the Cartersville City Pension Plan and the Cartersville City 2017 Pension Plan, had a combined $69 million in assets as of June 30, according to the city's most recent comprehensive financial annual report.
The combined asset pool's target allocation is 50% domestic equities, 40% fixed income and 10% international equities.
The RFP is available on the city's website. Proposals are due at 11 a.m. EDT on June 23. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
