Care New England Health System, Providence, R.I., hired AIG Retirement Services as record keeper and administrator for its $380 million 403(b) and 457(b) defined contribution plans, a spokeswoman confirmed.
An RFP was issued in February. Investment consultant Fiduciary Investment Advisors assisted in the search.
AIG replaces incumbent service provider Transamerica, which submitted a bid. A Transamerica spokeswoman could not be immediately reached for comment.
