California State University, Long Beach, is searching for an investment consultant for its $1.4 billion 403(b) plan, said Verna Ale Paniani, contract manager, in an email.
The university issued an RFP because of the impending contract expiration of current consultant Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting; the firm is invited to rebid.
The record keeper for the plan, which has 31 investment options, is Fidelity Investments.
The RFP is available on the university's procurement website. Proposals are due at 11 a.m. PDT on Sept. 13. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for Oct. 14, with a notice of intent to award scheduled to be posted on Nov. 1.
