California State University Channel Islands Foundation, Camarillo, Calif., is searching for an investment consultant for its $38 million endowment, according to an RFP.
The foundation is seeking an investment consultant to review and make recommendations regarding its asset allocation, review and select external investment managers, and report regularly to the foundation’s board of directors.
The RFP was issued because the contract of the current consultant Mill Creek Capital Advisors is expiring, a university spokesperson said in an email. The firm is invited to rebid.
As of Dec. 31, the foundation’s actual asset allocation was 60% equities, 21% fixed income, 17% alternative assets, and 2% cash and cash equivalents.
The RFP is available on the PlanetBids’ procurement website. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. PDT on June 3, and the foundation expects to announce a selection toward the end of July.
