California Achieving a Better Life Experience Board, Sacramento, is searching for a program manager.
The board for the $77 million 529(a) plan has issued an RFP due to the upcoming expiration of current manager TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing's contract, said Dante Allen, executive director, in an email. The firm is invited to rebid, he said.
TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing was hired as the ABLE plan's first program manager when it launched in 2018.
The RFP is available on the state's procurement website. Proposals are due at noon PST on Jan. 10. A notice of intent to award is scheduled for the week of Jan. 23.
