California Achieving a Better Life Experience Board, Sacramento, is searching for an investment consultant.
The board for the $140 million 529(a) plan has issued an RFP due to the upcoming expiration of current consultant Meketa Investment Group's contract on March 31, 2025, said Anne Osborne, deputy executive director. All firms that meet the criteria provided in the RFP are eligible to bid for the services, Osborne said.
The RFP is available on the state's procurement website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. PST on Jan. 8. A notice of intent to award is expected on Jan. 27.
