Brownsville Independent School District, Brownsville, Texas, is searching for a third-party administrator for its 403(b) and 457 plans.
The district is seeking a single third-party administrator for the plans to provide assistance with investment providers, and provide communication and education services, according to an RFP posted on the district's procurement website.
The district last issued an RFP for the services in 2019. According to an award notice on its website, U.S. Omni was hired as the third-party administrator for both plans with a contract expiration date of May 31, 2022. The new RFP does not disclose whether the current administrator is eligible to rebid. Asset sizes for the plans were not provided.
The RFP is available on the district's procurement website. Proposals are due at 9 a.m. CST on March 10. An award is tentatively scheduled for May 3.
