Bristol County Retirement System, Taunton, Mass., is looking to commit $40 million to an open-end global infrastructure fund.
The $881 million pension fund is seeking proposals from managers of open-end global diversified infrastructure funds, according to an RFP posted on the website of investment consultant Segal Marco Advisors, which is assisting with the search.
The RFP does not disclose the reason for the search. As of June 30, the pension fund had $41 million invested with an open-end infrastructure fund managed by IFM Investors, according to its most recently available investment report.
The RFP is available on Segal Marco Advisors' website. Proposals are due by noon EDT on April 17. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
