Bristol County Retirement System, Taunton, Mass., is looking to commit a total of $45 million to at least one open-end real estate fund.
The $904 million pension fund is conducting the search due to the requirement of the Massachusetts Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission that services must be put up for bid every seven years, said Roxanne Donovan, executive director. Current manager Intercontinental Real Estate is eligible to rebid, she said.
The RFP is available on the website of investment consultant Segal Marco Advisors, which is assisting with the search. Proposals are due by noon EDT on July 24. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
