Bristol County Retirement System, Taunton, Mass., is searching for active emerging markets debt managers.
The $813 million pension fund is seeking proposals from managers to run a total of $15 million, according to a notice posted on the website of the Massachusetts Public Employee Administration Commission.
The notice does not say whether current managers are invited to rebid. According to the pension fund's most recent investment report, Stone Harbor Investment Partners and Ashmore Investment Management, ran $8 million and $7 million, respectively, as of Sept. 30.
The RFP will be available shortly on the website of investment consultant Segal Marco Advisors, which is assisting with the search. Proposals will be due at 3 p.m. EDT on May 21. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
