Bristol, Conn., is searching for an investment consultant for its $734 million pension plans.
The board hired Hooker & Holcombe Investment Advisors to assist with the search. Arthur J. Meizner, director, investment consulting services, said his firm was contracted for this assignment only.
Minutes from the board's Jan. 14 meeting show that Beirne Wealth Consulting Services is the plan's current consultant. information about whether the firm will be submitting a bid wasn't available.
The RFP is available on the city's website. Registration is required. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT on March 25. A selection is expected to be made on the week of May 10.
Roger D. Rousseau, the city's purchasing agent, could not be immediately reached for comment.
