Brinker International Inc., Dallas, added the American Funds target-date fund lineup to its 401(k) plan in 2019.
The target-date funds managed by Capital Group had a combined $130 million in assets in the plan as of Dec. 31, according to the company's 11-K filing May 29 with the SEC.
The plan during 2019 removed the Fidelity Freedom target-date fund lineup managed by Fidelity Investments.
As of Dec. 31, 2018, those target-date funds had a combined $95 million in assets in the plan, according to the company's prior 11-K filing.
The reason for the change was not provided.
As of Dec. 31, the Brinker International 401(k) Savings Plan had $328 million in assets, according to the new 11-K filing. As of that same date, the plan had 10 investment options and a common stock fund in addition to the American Funds target-date funds.
