Boston Retirement System rehired State Street as custodian.
The $6.3 billion pension fund's board approved the hiring at its Nov. 15 meeting, recently released meeting minutes showed.
The pension fund had issued an RFP in September to comply with the Massachusetts Public Employees Retirement Administration Commission's requirement to put services up for bid every seven years. Northern Trust was the only other bidder, and there were no finalist presentations.
