Boston Retirement System is searching for active domestic small-cap equity managers to run a total of about $400 million.
The $6 billion pension fund is seeking managers to run active small-cap core, growth and value equity strategies and all current managers are encouraged to rebid, according to an RFP posted on the website of investment consultant NEPC, which is assisting with the search.
As of Dec. 31, according to the pension fund's most recent available investment report, Aristotle Capital Management ran a $194 million core portfolio, Westfield Capital Management ran a $133 million growth portfolio and Bernzott Capital Advisors ran a $132 million value portfolio.
The RFP is available on NEPC's website. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. EST on Nov. 11. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
