Blackstone Alternative Asset Management hired Jasper Capital Hong Kong and Seiga Asset Management as subadvisers to its Blackstone Alternative Multi-Strategy Fund.
The $5.4 billion multistrategy fund allocates assets to managers that specialize in global macro, quantitative and opportunistic trading strategies, among others.
Jasper Capital manages a quantitative directional strategy and Seiga manages a long/short equity strategy for the multistrategy fund, according to a Dec. 28 SEC filing announcing the addition of the subadvisers.
They are additions to the fund and do not replace other managers, according to the SEC filing. The Blackstone Alternative Multi-Strategy Fund now has 18 subadvisers.
