Bay Harbor Islands (Fla.) Employees Retirement System is searching for an active international equity manager to run $1.2 million.
The $22 million pension fund is seeking proposals from international equity managers whose portfolios are benchmarked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to an RFP posted on the website of investment consultant Dahab Associates, which is assisting with the search.
The RFP does not disclose the name of the current manager, or whether the manager is invited to rebid. According to the pension fund's most recent available investment report, Highland Capital Management was its sole international developed markets equity manager as of Dec. 31.
The RFP is available on Dahab's website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EST on Jan. 20. A timeline for a selection has yet to be determined.
Officials at the pension fund, and Kevin Condy, Dahab's director of research, could not be immediately reached for further information.
