Bay County Employees' Retirement System, Bay City, Mich., is searching for an investment consultant.
The $350 million pension fund has issued an RFP due to its policy of putting the services up for bid every five years, said Jan M. Histed, county finance officer, in an email.
Current consultant AndCo Consulting is invited to rebid.
The pension fund's asset allocation is: 71% domestic equities, 20% fixed income, 7% real estate and 2% cash.
The selected consultant would also provide services for the board of the $65 million Bay County Voluntary Employees' Beneficiary Association.
The RFP is available on the county's purchasing website. Proposals are due at 11 a.m. EDT on Oct. 2. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
