Baltimore City Fire & Police Employees' Retirement System made four new commitments totaling $75 million, said spokeswoman Amy E. Baskerville.
The $2.6 billion pension fund committed $25 million each to growth equity fund Frontier Capital VI and middle-market buyout fund One Rock Capital Partners III, and $12.5 million each to Greenspring Diversity Fund I and Greenspring Global Partners X, both venture capital funds managed by Greenspring Associates.
As of July 31, the actual allocation to private equity was 8.6%; the target is 11%.
