Baltimore City Fire & Police Employees' Retirement System made two new infrastructure commitments totaling $30 million.
The $3 billion pension fund committed $15 million each to Carlyle Renewable & Sustainable Energy Fund, an energy infrastructure fund managed by Carlyle Group, and ISQ Global Infrastructure Fund III, managed by I Squared Capital, said Amy E. Baskerville, pension fund spokeswoman.
As of Nov. 30, the pension fund's actual allocation to real assets was 13.3%.
Investment consultant NEPC assisted.
