Baltimore City Fire & Police Employees’ Retirement System committed $20 million to AE Industrial Partners Fund III.
The $3.3 billion pension fund’s board approved the commitment to the buyout fund at its July 16 meeting, recently released meeting minutes showed.
BCFPERS previously committed $16 million to AE Industrial Partners Fund II in 2018.
As of June 30, the actual allocation to private equity was 12.8%; the target is 11%.
Investment consultant NEPC assisted.
