AXA Equitable Life Insurance Co., Jersey City, N.J., added the Hood River Small-Cap Growth Fund to the investment options lineup of its 401(k) plan in 2018, the company disclosed in an 11-K filing with the SEC.
The active domestic small-cap growth equity fund managed by Hood River Capital Management had $56 million in assets in the plan as of Dec. 31, according to the June 27 filing.
Also during 2018, the plan removed the AB Small Cap Growth Portfolio, an active domestic small-cap growth equity fund managed by AllianceBernstein. The AB fund had $57 million in assets in the plan as of Dec. 31, 2017, according to the company's previous 11-K filing.
The reason for the change was not provided.
As of Dec. 31, the AXA Equitable 401(k) Plan had $1.9 billion in assets, according to the new 11-K filing.
