Austin, Texas, is searching for a record keeper for its $684 million 457 plan.
The city issued an RFP due to the upcoming expiration of current record keeper Empower Retirement's contract in June 2023, according to an RFP posted on the city's procurement website. The firm is eligible to rebid, said Gail Ray, city contract manager.
The plan has six core investment options, a target-date fund lineup, a stable value fund and self-directed brokerage option.
The RFP is available on the city's procurement website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on Aug. 23. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
