Arvada, Colo., is searching for an investment consultant for its three 401(a) plans and one 457 plan.
The city issued an RFP due to the upcoming expiration of the contract of current consultant Cook Street Consulting, said Bryan Archer, the city’s director of finance, in an email. The firm is eligible to rebid.
Fidelity Investments is the current record keeper of the plans, and the chosen consultant will assist in an RFP process when Fidelity’s contract expires in November 2026. Fidelity will be eligible to rebid during that process as well, Mr. Archer said.
The three 401(a) plans have a combined $225 million in assets, and the 457 plan has $32 million in assets. The RFP does not provide the name of the firm currently providing the services, or whether the firm is eligible to rebid.
The RFP is available on BidNetDirect. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 2 p.m. MDT on May 4. A timeline for a selection was not provided.
