Arlington, Texas, is searching for an investment consultant for the city's $224 million 401(k) plan, $51 million 457 plan and a part-time, seasonal and temporary employee deferred income plan with $3 million in assets.
The city issued a request for qualifications for firms or individuals to provide "analysis, advice, direction and general guidance" to the city's retirement committee regarding the plans' fund structures, investment lineups, implementation and administration, according to the RFQ posted on the city's purchasing website.
Hyas Group is the current consultant. Whether the firm is invited to rebid could not be immediately learned.
The RFQ is available on the city's purchasing website. Qualifications are due at 2 p.m. CST on Nov. 14. The city council will make a selection in January.
