Arlington County (Va.) Employees' Retirement System committed $15 million to JFL Equity Investors V, a buyout fund managed by J.F. Lehman & Co.
The $2.4 billion pension fund's board at its Sept. 5 meeting approved the commitment to the fund, which invests in the defense, aerospace, maritime and related industries, recently released minutes show.
As of June 30, the pension fund's actual allocation to private equity was 4%.
