Arlington County (Va.) Employees' Retirement System approved two new commitments totaling $40 million.
The $3.2 billion pension fund's board approved commitments of $20 million each to private equity fund Enlightenment Capital Solutions Fund IV and lower middle-market buyout fund Gallant Capital Partners II at its May 5 meeting, said Susie Ardeshir, executive director and chief investment officer.
As of June 30, the actual allocation to private equity was 5.1%.
