Arlington County (Va.) Employees' Retirement System committed $20 million to Clearhaven Fund II.
The $2.8 billion pension fund's board approved the commitment to the middle-market technology-focused buyout fund managed by Clearhaven Partners at its March 2 meeting, said Susie Ardeshir, executive director and chief investment officer, in an email.
It is ACERS' first commitment to the manager, Ms. Ardeshir said.
As of Dec. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to private investments was 9%.
