Arlington County (Va.) Employees' Retirement System committed $15 million to Peppertree Capital Fund VIII, a private equity fund that invests in communication infrastructure companies managed by Peppertree Capital Management.
It is the $2.4 billion pension fund's first commitment to Peppertree, said Daniel Zito, executive director and chief investment officer.
As of Sept. 30, the pension fund's actual allocation to private equity was 4%.
