Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, Little Rock, committed up to $130 million to four alternative investment funds, Deputy Director Rod Graves said in an email.
At its Monday meeting, the board for the $16.1 billion pension plan committed $50 million to Long Wharf Real Estate Partners VI, a value-added real estate fund managed by Long Wharf Capital.
The board also committed $30 million each to two private equity funds of funds managed by Franklin Park: Franklin Park Venture Fund XIII and Franklin Park International Fund X.
The state teacher retirement system also committed $20 million to Thoma Bravo Explorer Fund, a buyout fund focused on small- and lower-middle-market software companies in the U.S.
