Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, Little Rock, approved three new commitments totaling up to $125 million.
The $19.8 billion pension fund's board at its meeting Monday approved commitments of up to $65 million to Franklin Park Co-Investment Fund VI, a private equity co-investment fund managed by Franklin Park Associates; and up to $30 million each to GCG Investors VI, a mezzanine debt fund managed by Greyrock Capital Group, and LLR Equity Partners VII, a buyout fund managed by LLR Partners, said Rod Graves, deputy director, in an email.
The pension fund previously committed up to $30 million each Franklin Park Corporate Finance Access Fund II, Franklin Park International Fund XI and Franklin Park Venture Capital Opportunity Fund in December.
Also, in 2020, the pension fund committed $35 million to GCG Investors V and $30 million to LLR Equity Partners VI.
As of Dec. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to private equity was 14.7%; the target is 12%.
