Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, Little Rock, approved three commitments totaling up to $85 million, said Rod Graves, deputy director, in an email.
The $21.2 billion pension fund's board at its meeting Monday approved commitments of up to $30 million each to buyout fund Arlington Capital Partners VI and Franklin Park Venture Capital Fund XIV, a venture capital fund of funds managed by Franklin Park Associates; and a follow-on commitment of up to $25 million to KKR Diversified Core Infrastructure Fund, an open-end core infrastructure fund managed by KKR & Co., Mr. Graves said.
The pension fund previously committed up to $30 million to Arlington Capital Partners V in 2019, up to $30 million each to Franklin Park International Fund XI and Franklin Park Venture Capital Opportunity Fund in December.
The pension fund originally committed up to $50 million to KKR Diversified Core Infrastructure Fund in June.
As of Feb. 28, the pension fund's actual allocations to private equity and opportunistic/alternatives were 12.7% and 4.2%, respectively.
