Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System, Phoenix, committed up to $60 million to Castle Creek Capital Partners VIII.
The $14 billion pension fund closed the commitment to the buyout fund on July 21, confirmed spokesman Christian Palmer.
The pension fund previously committed up to $45 million to Castle Creek Capital Partners VII in 2018 and up to $30 million to Castle Creek Capital Partners VI in 2016.
As of May 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to global private equity was 26.3%.
