ArcBest Corp., Fort Smith, Ark., hired Charles Schwab & Co. as record keeper of its 401(k) plan.
Schwab replaced Transamerica Retirement Solutions as the plan's record keeper, effective June 1, according to ArcBest's June 28 11-K filing with the SEC.
A blackout period for participants began on May 22 and ended on June 15, according to the filing. A reason for the change was not provided.
As of Dec. 31, the ArcBest 401(k) and DC Retirement Plan had $598 million in assets, according to the 11-K filing.
