Anne Arundel County Retirement and Pension System, Annapolis, Md., committed $25 million to PIMCO Private Income Fund, recently released board meeting minutes show.
The $1.9 billion pension fund's board approved the commitment to the evergreen private credit fund managed by Pacific Investment Management Co. at its Aug. 20 meeting.
As of Dec. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to private markets was 7.4%, according to its most recent comprehensive financial annual report.
